While I've enjoyed some of them before it's wonderful to see the breadth and depth of your approach to trees - 'Woods' blew me away - not sure if it is 42 inches or cms, but gorgeous.Robyn Sinclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01663604160297996421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16927229.post-35350988463833537302009-06-15T20:56:30.516+00:002009-06-15T20:56:30.516+00:00Great work. It's often hard to get the right balance between adding in details from the leaves and branches without going insane and losing the overall shape. Your work here does that nicely and has given me a few things to think about in my own drawing.Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15774411160286125361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16927229.post-35494954461036608192009-06-10T21:12:54.113+00:002009-06-10T21:12:54.113+00:00A great tree...this is one of my prjects. I also enjoy trees, and they are really difficult, but indispensible for plein air painting(decent plein air painting) and of course the only way is going out and just drawing them again and again.
RonellAfricantapestry and Myfrenchkitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15721198951463440836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16927229.post-12783810849747111602009-06-07T18:29:01.898+00:002009-06-07T18:29:01.898+00:00I love the slide show of the trees, and find it so...I love the slide show of the trees, and find it so useful that I can stop the motion to study a particular slide. I too adore trees, but I have everything to learn about recreating them. So, of course, I appreciate all the blogs that showcase them.
annieanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06021356337010751802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16927229.post-41582904146732709842009-06-06T16:56:28.146+00:002009-06-06T16:56:28.146+00:00Thanks Laura and Jean and Charlene :>)
